About

Hello and welcome,

Hi, I’m Emma — a Seattle-based artist, blogger, and astrologer. Emma No Problema began as a high school nickname, but it stuck because it still feels like the perfect motto for how I approach life and creativity.

I’ve been sharing pieces of my journey on my blog since 2016. Writing has always been a love of mine. What began as travel stories eventually grew into more personal reflections, including navigating grief after losing my mom in 2017.

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Communication with an emphasis in Media Studies from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs. Over the past 10 years, I’ve worked primarily in healthcare marketing and communications roles. I’ll always be grateful for the skills I developed, the tools I gained, and the meaningful connections and friendships I made during this very “Working Woman Barbie” era of my life.

In 2020, my son was born 8 weeks early. Navigating being a first-time mom with a preemie in the early days of a global pandemic was not the initiation by fire I was expecting, but boy did I grow in this chapter of my life. As daycares closed across the country, I chose to leave my corporate job behind to stay home with him. Little did I know this career pause would lead me to a deep personal transformation, especially in the areas of art and spirituality.

In 2021, during my first cozy (and very rainy) Seattle winter, I fell in love with macramé. What started as a creative outlet quickly turned into a small business. I love a creative challenge and continue to push my skills.

Since 2023, I’ve been offering astrology card readings to friends and family—an intuitive practice that’s helped me strengthen my understanding of astrology and trust my inner knowing. I now offer birth chart readings and love using astrology as a tool to remind others of the unique magic they bring into the world.

This corner of the internet is a home for all the things I love and create. If something here resonates with you, or if you simply have a question, I’d love to hear from you. Just send a note.

XOXO Emma
